Overview
In order to build a solid foundation in typography, I created a typographic handbook for my class, covering fundamental rules and extending into more creative explorations of composition and hierarchy.
The Takeaway
I learned that in layout design, typography comes first—establishing hierarchy, pairing type thoughtfully, and using white space effectively are key to strong composition.
